As a full time university student, currently studying a bachelor of Aviation Management I was given the opportunity to take part in an industry study tour, travelling around the world at the end of last year. It was a whirlwind tour with 5 countries and 9 flights in 21 days - and whilst the trip was mostly educational, I was fortunate enough to visit and explore so many exciting places! Our visits to each location varied from 40 hours in Abu Dhabi to 7 days in London, but it was such a unique and incredible experience so I wanted to share some photos from my time overseas. There's plenty more on my Instagram highlights so check that out also. I hope you enjoy. A x Toulouse, France London, England Frankfurt, Germany Abu Dhabi, UAE Hong Kong

I popped up to Brisbane a couple of weeks ago and although I was there for a meeting with Virgin Australia, I made every effort I could to explore this riverside city. As always, I couldn't help but snap plenty of photo's so thought I would share a few here. I hope you enjoy. A x I recently had the opportunity to fly up to Sydney to visit QANTAS, which was absolutely exciting and I had an awesome time! Being a Friday, I decided to make the most of the trip and stay an extra day, exploring on the Saturday. It was a little bit crazy but I had a fabulous time and took plenty of photos as always, so here's a little peak at my short, but certainly sweet adventure. Enjoy! A x the jewel of sydney : the harbour then the ferry to manly and one last stop before flying home nothing better than a fun adventure, ended on a sweet note
As much as I love to see the world and adventure to new places, I also like to make an effort to explore my home. Melbourne is a great city and I love wandering around town, taking in the sights and people watching. I recently spent a day as a 'tourist' in my own city and it was actually incredibly fascinating. It was nice to not be going anywhere in particular and take time to enjoy the city and all that it has to offer. I hope you enjoy. A x On this day out, wandering through Melbourne as a "tourist", I arrived at Flinders Street Station (the main metropolitan station) and after visiting the NGV, slowly made my way north, exploring and taking my time to really look around. I go through this station everyday on my way to University but it's not often I take the time to appreciate the heritage and beauty of the facade which is a classic Melbourne icon. Degraves Street is only a minute walk from Flinders Street Station and I love how chaotic it is! You could always make your way through the city up one of the main streets but I much prefer the vibrant laneways and historic arcades. It's a more 'zig-zag' route, but during the cooler days especially it's better to be inside and I really love taking the time to admire the classic architecture. It's a little bit out of the way, and I discovered it by accident, but the dome at 333 Collins Street is a hidden treasure! And I hear there is a fabulous Christmas display here later in the year which I can't wait to check it out when the season comes. Whilst this building may now be a H&M store, in was once the Melbourne General Post Office and whilst I love the facade, it's the arches in the walkway that I think are truly beautiful. And in true Melbourne fashion, it's home to a small coffee shop and cafe. Melbourne Central also has a station which I often come through, as well as being a major shopping centre, but I rarely take the time to look up and admire the shot tower and glass cone so I took the time on my little adventure. The Victorian State Library's Latrobe reading room is very picturesque but it's the quite and calm I love here. Since visiting though, I've learnt they have several gallery's and a couple lesser known, but still stunning rotundas, so I plan on visiting again very soon. I know very little about the Melbourne Public Baths but this red brick building with contrasting white trim is hard to miss when walking up Swanson street. And this little discovery made me even happier I was out and about on a cold yet sunny day, wandering through Melbourne. I absolutely love the Royal Exhibition Building and it's surrounding gardens. And whilst enjoying it and taking a few photos, a tourists walking group passed by so I even learnt a little bit of Melbourne history which was a nice surprise before ending my exploration for the day.
I absolutely love the NGV and was thrilled with their latest international exhibition Triennial, featuring the work of over 100 artists and designers from 32 countries. This celebration of contemporary art and design practice was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately I visited in the last week of the exhibition and it has now closed. But I hope you enjoy some of the photos I took throughout the exhibition. When you think about how big Canada is, I only saw a small pocket, visiting Niagara Falls and Calgary. It was stunning though and just makes me want to explore more of the beautiful country. I wanted to share some of that beauty so I've put together a - very small - photo diary of the winter wonderland that it was when I visited two months ago. This is such a little peak into Canada as I spent most of my time catching up with a friend. I hope you enjoy. A x
